The FIT>BUILD>LAUNCH Framework was born out of 25 years of product development at both startups and big tech, including eBay and Amazon. The FBL Framework utilizes the best modern product management concepts, as well as agile and lean development techniques. The framework is powered by AI + Methodology + Workflow, and is the foundation for the VelocitiPM platform.
The FIT phase covers Discovery, Experimentation, and Definition, with the mission of finding the right problems to solve, focusing on ideal outcomes, and decomposing Problems to Initiatives throughout the Discovery phase.
FBL Canvas
The FBL Canvas is based on the Lean Canvas, but a more expansive store for industry, problem and business data.
Problem Map
This is the discovery phase, based on the Continuous Discovery Methodology. Problems are mapped out to Outcomes, then Opportunities, then Experiments and finally Initiatives.
Story Map
After initiatives are created from the Problem Mapping-Experimentation process, they are decomposed using Story Mapping to create Epics & User Stories.
Goals & Metrics
Define OKRs related to Product Development and Goals based on Product Metrics.
